Covid Health & Safety Guidelines


In order to minimize the spread of COVID-19, everyone must play their part. OSHA, the CDC and NYS Executive Orders 2020 have provided control and preventative guidance for all workers, regardless of exposure risk. We have adopted and are implementing various housekeeping, social distancing, and other best practices.

Employees and guests are expected to:

  • Frequently wash hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. When soap and running water are unavailable, use an alcohol-based hand rub with at least 60% alcohol.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, or mouth with unwashed hands.
  • Follow appropriate respiratory etiquette, which includes covering for coughs and sneezes.
  • Avoid close contact with any persons who are or appear to be sick.
  • Maintain a minimum six-foot clearance from all individuals, whether they appear to be sick or not.

Cleaning & Disinfecting:

It is believed that the COVID-19 virus may be transmitted by respiratory droplets that land on surfaces and are then are touched by others, who infect themselves when they touch their eyes, nose, or mouth. This being said, at our company we have instituted regular housekeeping practices, which include the cleaning and disinfecting of frequently used surfaces, tools, equipment, and other elements of our work environment.

At our company, we will ensure that disinfection be conducted using one of the following:

  • Common EPA-registered household disinfectant
  • Alcohol solution with at least 60% alcohol
  • Diluted household bleach solutions (as/if appropriate for the affected surface).

Common Areas:

  • Bathrooms are cleaned daily by building management.
  • Common shared areas will be disinfected by employees after anyone resides there.
  • Before and after each group session the drink ledges are will be disinfected and wiped down.
  • Stools will be wiped down and sanitized after each throwing session
  • Each customer will have a specifically designated axe which will be sanitized before each event, during the scoring intermission, and upon completion of final tournament.
  • Each restroom surface will be wiped down and sanitized after each throwing session and periodically throughout each event.
  • Gloves will be worn by all staff members at all times when handling food and beverages.

We have implemented these housekeeping practices for each general area within our company to ensure the safety of all of our guests.

Bookings:

groups of 2-6 people will be able to book a 1-hour throwing session for $25 per person & groups of 6+ will be able to book a 2-hour throwing session at $40 per person.

Our new operating hours for our Black Rock location are as follows: Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 5p – 11:30p. Bagels & Brews will be open from 8a – 1p on Thursdays and Fridays slinging your favorite sandwiches. Thanks for coming along with us on the ride, times are crazy but we’re doing our best to adjust.
